After thirteen years of dedication and innovation, Atirio is ready for another significant phase of growth. Since our founding in 2011 by Chris Henskens, we have focused on the brand-independent maintenance and repair of medical equipment, both on site and in our specialized workshops. Today we are proud to announce that we have taken an important step forward with the attraction of investors together with the move to larger premises in Diepenbeek.

Unique certified methodology

At Atirio, we have developed a unique methodology that focuses on supporting and unburdening healthcare institutions and medical equipment manufacturers in the Benelux. This approach has not only earned us a reputation for reliability and quality, but also enabled stable growth. In the past two years, our staff complement has grown from three to eight employees, a clear indication of the increasing demand for our services.

An important part of our commitment to quality is our ISO 9001 certification. This internationally recognised standard confirms that our quality management system meets the highest standards. This enables us to consistently deliver high-quality services and continuously improve, which is crucial for our growth ambitions and customer satisfaction.

Growth & Investors

To realise the next big step in our growth, we have enlisted the help of experienced investors/entrepreneurs who are willing to contribute their knowledge and resources for further expansion. These investors include Vaninvest, the holding company above Vandeputte Medical, and Matty Zadnikar's Z-group, both no strangers to the industry.

With these new partners at our side, we have set ambitious goals. By 2030, we want to increase our turnover from 1 million to 5 million euros and double our workforce. To achieve this, we are targeting new, not yet fully explored markets that can benefit from our maintenance services. This includes retirement homes, device lending services, private clinics, dental practices, ophthalmologists and even veterinarians.

New location

Our new location in Diepenbeek not only provides more space for our specialised workshops, but also better facilities to further expand and improve our services. With this infrastructure, we are better equipped to meet the growing needs of our customers.

Maintaining industry lead

Chris Henskens, founder of Atirio, is optimistic about the future:

‘With the support of our new partners and our dedicated team, we are ready to expand our services and support even more customers in various sectors. Our focus will always remain on quality and reliability, so that our customers can rely on perfectly functioning medical devices.’

The future looks promising for Atirio. With our proven methodology, strategic partnerships and new facilities in Diepenbeek, we are well positioned to remain a leading player in the medical equipment maintenance and repair sector in the Benelux and beyond.
